We take great pride in the quality of our products and their ability to stand up to the demands of the clinical environment. We are here to help keep your Burlington aprons in working condition and offer a wide range of repair and alteration services.

Here are some examples of what you can expect from us:

Minor Repairs:
  • Replace buckles
  • Replace Hook & Loop on paws of select aprons
  • Reinforce stitching/binding
  • Re-stitch an existing pocket
Alterations:
  • Scoop neckline
  • Pinch, narrow, or raise or lower shoulders
  • Add half-moons or scoop front/back or lower the bottom of armholes
  • Pinch side seams or reduce width of frontal aprons
  • Extend or shorten paws
  • Pinch side seams
  • Reduce width of front panels
  • Raise or lower hook Velcro
  • Shorten length of apron (select styles only)
Accessories:
  • Add a comfort option such as a belt to an existing apron

Repairs and alterations are made on aprons manufactured by Burlington Medical only. Repairs are made on aprons that are no more than 5 years old. If repairs are a warranty issue related to a manufacturer’s defect, there will be no charge.

Alterations are offered free of charge on tailored aprons only within the first 60 days of purchase. After 60 days, charges will be assessed for all alterations. Alterations are not available on custom or standard aprons.

Accessories can be added to aprons that are no more than 6 months old. We will only replace Velcro on aprons no more than 5 years old. No alterations on aprons more than 6 months from the purchase date. Any apron needing repair/alteration after 60 days of purchase will be sent to Radiological Care Services for a deep cleaning prior to coming back to Burlington Medical.

Aprons can be returned for minor repairs to binding, stitching, and outer straps for up to 5 years from purchase. All returns must be authorized by Burlington prior to returning the item. The RMA number is valid for 30 days from the issue date. The serial number and reason for the repair may be required. In some situations, pictures may be necessary.

Eyewear repairs are allowed for 2 years from the date of purchase. The type of repair available is limited to eyewear purchased from Burlington. Prices and repairs available vary based on the style and repairs being made. All returns must be authorized prior to returning the item. An RMA number is valid for 30 days from the issue date. The serial number and reason for the repair will be required. Burlington will replace one lens; however, if both lenses need to be replaced, a new pair of glasses must be purchased.

Tailored aprons may be returned for no charge alterations within 60 days from the date of shipment. All alterations to fit must be authorized prior to return and require an RMA number, valid for 30 days from the issue date. All alterations to fit will be assessed a fee after 60 days and for up to 6 months from purchase. The serial number and reason for the alteration will be required, and in some situations, pictures will be required.

Racks, table pads, positioners, barriers, and other similar products are not eligible for repair.
