What apron style is best for my needs?

I can't decide on a protective material or level. What do I need?
There are several factors to consider about your unique situation when making these decisions. Check out our Protective Material Guide for an introduction to the basic factors for consideration. Most importantly, you should first determine your requirements by contacting the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) of your facility. Unfortunately, Burlington Medical cannot advise you on proper protection levels for your particular needs and requirements.

What is your production time for web orders?
  • Stock items such as Non-Rx Leaded Eyewear will ship within five days.
  • Aprons and other made-to-order items will ship within, but no later than, two weeks.
  • Prescription Eyewear will ship within three weeks.
What are your shipping times?
UPS Ground: One to five business days within the continental U.S. and up to seven days for AK or HI.
UPS International Economy: Five to ten business days.
How is your sales tax calculated?
Your order may be subject to local sales tax, depending on the state to which the item is being shipped.

Our products are assembled in the USA.
How can an Enviro-Lite™ apron protect me if there's no lead in it?
Lead isn’t the only material that can protect you from scatter radiation. It’s just the material traditionally used. Burlington’s Enviro-Lite™ uses a proprietary blend of composite metals to offer you the same protection as lead.
