MISSION/VISION

We work hard every day to be the recognized leader in the medical radiation protection business. Our leadership is created through customer satisfaction. We aim to keep our leadership in the industry by successfully implementing innovative ways of serving our customers' needs and retaining high performance people by being the preferred place to work. We drive efficiency throughout the organization which strengthens our focus on our customers' needs and wants. CORE VALUES

Burlington Medical conducts business ethically, honestly, and in full compliance with all laws and regulations. This applies to every business decision in every area of the company worldwide. Our Core Values serve as the foundation for ethical behavior across our company.


CUSTOMER FOCUS

We care more, know more and do more to help ensure the satisfaction of our customers. Our people are expected to deal fairly with customers, suppliers, competitors and other employees and to refrain from misleading others or compromising our integrity to gain an advantage. Employees are expected to refrain from taking unfair advantage of anyone through manipulation, concealment, abuse of privileged information, misrepresentation of material facts, or any other unfair dealing practice. Discrimination, Harassment, or Retaliation of any sort for any reason are not part of the Burlington Medical culture and are not behaviors Burlington will tolerate from its people.

We employ direct sales representative because we encourage direct communication with our customers. Customer feedback gives us valuable information on our business practices and customer needs. In meeting those needs, we produce products that must meet the standard of work that we would insist upon if we did it for ourselves. Nothing else counts.

Antitrust laws in the U.S. and competition laws outside the U.S. exist to ensure free and open competition in the marketplace, a principle that Burlington Medical fully supports. We will not:

  • Enter into agreements or understandings with competitors, either directly or through others, to fix prices, divide customers or territories, or restrict sales.
  • Exchange of pricing or other proprietary information with competitors.
  • Enter into illegal price discrimination agreements.


CODE OF BUSINESS CONDUCT

Burlington Medical is a community of well-trained and highly motivated people. We have significant commitments to our customers, our suppliers, the many communities of which we are a member, to society as a whole, and to each other. These commitments, which are a prime element in any code of business ethics, are briefly summarized here:

To our customers, we are committed to continue to provide outstanding performance, to produce quality products and services that meet or exceed requirements and specifications, and to meet required schedules and budgets. We are also committed to the protection and handling of classified information in accordance with established rules and regulations.

To our suppliers, we will emphasize fair competition, cooperative relationships, and a sense of responsibility that will enable us to be a good customer. We will protect all proprietary information belonging to any organization that has entrusted it to us. From our suppliers, we expect the same.

To the many communities in which we reside, and to society as a whole, we are committed to responsive corporate citizenship. We will conduct ourselves in a moral, ethical, and beneficial manner in all aspects of our business. We are committed to compliance with federal, state, and local environmental protection requirements.

To our employees, we will treat one another fairly, implementing employment practices and programs related to compensation, education, training, recreation and health on the basis of fairness and equal opportunity for all employees. We will provide safe and healthy working conditions and maintain formal programs intended to prevent work-related injuries and accidents. We will protect each other’s privacy and conduct ourselves with the dignity and respect due all human beings.

Instead, we have a strong, nationwide sales network that is the envy of the industry. We talk directly to each customer and user of our products, making sure their needs are understood before we begin the process of filling those needs. We not only provide custom-fitted protective devices, we also offer a much wider range of service after the sale including repair, recovery and disposal of old aprons at a cost that allows our customer to maximize their budget's impact.

Burlington Medical is ISO 9001 certified in order to maintain an effective manufacturing process that will get the highest quality products to you in most efficient manner possible. We are also CE certified, which allows us to offer our products and services in the European market.
